What to Expect
At ECN, we understand that the church experience can vary for different people, especially if you're new to it or returning after a long time. That's perfectly fine! Embracing something different can be refreshing. Regardless of your background, our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and warmly welcomed.

What service should I try for the first time?If you are having a hard time deciding which service to try, the 10:10 service is our shortest and most casual service. There is no sitting, standing, recitation or any other thing you may have seen at other church services that can be sometimes confusing if you are unfamiliar with them. It's a service to grab a cup of coffee while you listen and interact as much or as little as you'd like.
-
When should I arrive? We have three services on Sunday mornings. A more modern and contemporary service at 9 AM, a casual discussion-based message at 10:10 AM, and a traditional worship service at 11 AM. It is best to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes before the service to park and find a seat.
-
Where should I park?Guests who are visiting ECN and/or "kicking the tires" of this whole faith thing have designated up-close visitor parking spots in the main parking lot off College Street. If that lot is full, additional parking is available across Main Street in a gravel lot.
-
Do I need to wear anything special?God looks at the heart, not the outward appearance, and He welcomes anyone who comes to Him. If it's good enough for God, it's good enough for the folks at ECN! It is common to see farmers in coveralls, hunters in camo, and employees in work uniforms, as it is to see someone in a tie or a dress. We'd rather you be comfortable at ECN than not at church at all.
-
What will my kids do?There is something for the whole family! While you attend service, your kids can participate in fun, interactive Bible study and worship, no matter their age. Kids are welcome in any service but you, as well as your children, may enjoy your experiences more in services tailored to your age. Check out our children and student sections here for more info.

So I've attended a service, how do I get plugged in?First of all, welcome to the ECN family! Life is hard, but doing life in a community of people who support each other in tough times, serve their community, pray for one another, and just enjoy being together makes the hardest days feel conquerable.
